Description
Bed bugs are parasitic insects of the Cimicid family that feed exclusively on blood. Bedbugs are commonly found harbouring in and around the bed including furniture, electrical appliances, fittings and skirting boards. Besides the obvious symptom of poink bite marks, bedbug infestations can be identified by observing small black spots of droppings, shed skins and egg casings. Cimex lectularius, the common bed bug, is the best known, as it prefers to feed on human blood.
